Sinceday — Privacy Policy

Summary

Sinceday does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no cloud sync. Everything the app needs to function stays on your device.

What's stored, and where

Entry titles, reference dates, and any photo you choose to attach are saved locally on your device using standard local application storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.

Photo library access

Sinceday requests photo library access only when you choose to attach a photo to an entry. The selected photo is stored on your device and used only to display within the app (card background, detail screen, and lock screen widget). Photos are never uploaded or shared with third parties.

Notifications (Android)

For pinned entries, Sinceday uses local, on-device notifications to keep them visible in the notification center. These notifications are generated and managed entirely on your device and do not go through a push server.

Widget (iOS)

To show pinned entries on the lock screen widget, the app and the widget share data on-device via an App Group. This data never leaves your device.

Third parties

Sinceday does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
